玄岳道长，俗名不详，道号「玄岳」，取自武当山「玄岳」之名。他出生于湖北武当山脚下的一个小村庄，自幼体弱多病，12 岁时被家人送上武当山，跟随全真派道长修行。 在山上的三十年里，他系统学习了武当太极、道家养生、道医艾灸、经络调理、内丹功法。他曾在武当山金顶闭关三年，每日仅以山泉和野果为生，在晨钟暮鼓中体悟「道法自然」的真谛。 四十岁那年，他下山云游，足迹遍布名山大川。在云游中，他看到现代人被焦虑、失眠、亚健康困扰，却找不到真正有效的调理方法。他发现，很多人对东方养生文化有强烈的兴趣，但市面上的内容要么过于玄乎迷信，要么过于商业化，缺少真正「接地气」的道家智慧。 于是，他决定用现代人能理解的语言，分享道家养生的真谛。他说：「道不在深山里，道在日常中。一杯茶、一炷香、一次深呼吸，都是修行。」他不搞神秘主义，不夸大功效，只是用三十年的修行经验，告诉人们如何「顺天时而养，随自然而生」。 他的愿望是：让更多人通过道家养生，找回身体的自愈力，找回内心的平静。他常说：「我不是医生，我只是一个分享者。真正的医生，是你自己的身体。」
