What happens
01 · 20 min
Wedging the clay
Ten minutes by hand to push the air out, so nothing cracks in the kiln.
02 · 60 min
Centring on the wheel
Wet hands, steady elbows. This is the step everyone finds hardest.
03 · 60 min
Pulling the wall
Thin the wall, leave the lean. Uneven is the signature, not a mistake.
04 · 40 min
Choosing the glaze
Wood-ash or cream. We fire it at 1240 °C and ship it two weeks later.

Questions
- I have never touched clay. Can I still come?
- Yes. The first cup you make will lean, and we keep it anyway.
- When do I get my cup?
- The kiln fires once, about two weeks after your session, then we ship.
