The hands behind the craft
We do not make the handcraft ourselves. We visit the people who do, and we pay before the piece exists.
Our rule for the handcraft line is simple: no stock, no pressure, no anonymous factories. Each piece is made to order and paid for up front.
That makes the shop slower and the margins thinner. It also means the person folding the linen gets to decide how many folds they can do in a week.
When light commerce opens, the buttons will say "made to order", not "in stock". We would rather be honest than fast.
